“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.”
In early May 2018, I woke up with an idea. As my fifth child’s first birthday approached I began to realise I had little that made me more than a Mum. I knew that ‘Mum’ wasn’t all I wanted to be.
That day, I made the first of many steps towards the rest of my life. I started my own business and became a Virtual Assistant.
I want to help you fulfil your purpose more effectively.
When you set up your business, I can imagine you underestimated the amount of admin that comes with running a successful business. Accounting, invoicing, diary management, travel arrangements, social media management, website management, and so much more. Running a business is more than simply fulfilling your mission statement. Very often, these tasks are not a fundamental aspect of your business, yet they take up more time than your true purpose.
After spending a decade as a self-employed blogger, and the time before that in a number of supporting roles, I am armed with a skill set well suited to life as a freelance PA. This skillset, and a good work ethic, means that the tasks distracting you from your purpose are safe in my hands.
“The main problem with this great obsession for saving time is very simple: you can’t save time. You can only spend it. But you can spend it wisely or foolishly.”
